We are a growing tax, payroll, and accounting firm looking for an experienced Accountant and Tax Preparer to join our team. ### What You'll Do:
- Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Prepare and file various tax returns, including individual, corporate, partnership, and trust tax returns.
- Conduct tax research and provide strategic advice to clients on tax planning and compliance matters.
- Assist clients with IRS audit letters and other tax-related communications.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and expertise.
- Manage client accounts, ensuring timely and accurate billing and collections.
- Stay updated on changes in accounting and tax laws to ensure compliance and best practices.
- Collaborate with the team to develop and implement efficient accounting and tax policies.
- Train, mentor, and oversee junior staff members.

### What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- CPA or EA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on tax preparation and accounting services.
- Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
- Experience using accounting software such as QuickBooks; familiarity with Lacerte is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Strong client service skills and the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly.
