Salary: $100,000 - 140,000 per year Requirements:

• We require a Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, engineering, or a related field. We are also open to equivalent educational backgrounds. Candidates should have at least 1 year of hands-on native Android development experience and have previously authored large-scale, high-availability Android applications. Additionally, we expect you to have education, training, or experience in object-oriented programming, business intelligence tools, or mobile application development. A demonstrated professional history in software development reflecting the ability to oversee and guide both team and non-team members is essential. Proficiency in at least three programming languages within the Paycom technology stack is also expected. The ideal candidate should understand both the current state and the future of the mobile landscape.

• In this role, I will be responsible for planning and developing a variety of Android software applications aimed at enhancing both new and existing high-availability applications. I will act as a subject-matter expert in Android technologies and development, collaborating with diverse development teams to ensure the successful completion of various Android projects. I will oversee the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), which includes planning, design, development, integration, and the implementation of Android applications. My development work will span a wide array of projects, from industry-wide solutions to client-specific reports and interfacing technologies. Furthermore, I will create standard development code for various product modules such as Payroll, Talent Acquisition, Time Management, and more. I will also customize development code and reports to fit client and internal needs. Testing adjustments will be made to the code based on feedback to ensure all concerns are addressed, and I will collaborate with technology professionals on projects of varying sizes. Regular participation in team meetings and projects will be key to promoting collaboration and enhancing colleagues' skills.

The technologies I will utilize heavily include Kotlin, Java, knowledge of Android activities and UI fragment interactions, XML layouts, Retrofit2, and others. Familiarity with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), and various programming languages will be beneficial. I value strong communication skills and an attention to detail, with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting customer deadlines. Preferred qualifications include having a portfolio of published apps in the Google Play Store and knowledge of Android versions along with strong programming capabilities in Java and Kotlin. I also appreciate familiarity with Android development tools, database integration, and project management methodologies.
