Mobile Application Developer | Android (Java/Kotlin) Roseville, CA Local Candidates Only Full time staff position Do you have a sincere passion for Mobile Apps development? Great opportunity to help regional and nationwide organization build out legacy and new application development for employees, customers, and 3rd party partners.

You will be working with our team to develop and maintain high quality mobile applications. If you're passionate about mobile platforms and translating code into user-friendly apps, we would like to meet you. As a Mobile developer, you'll collaborate with internal teams to develop functional mobile applications. Ultimately, the ideal candidate will be able to design and build the next generation of our mobile applications.

Responsibilities

• Support the entire application lifecycle (concept, design, test, release and support)
• Produce fully functional mobile applications writing clean code for both platforms, with experience in one or more of the following programming languages, with the preference as listed here:
• Primary development platform: Android (Java/Kotlin)
• Secondary development platform: iOS (Objective C and/or Swift)
• Writing code to complete applications within deadlines
• Design creative prototypes according to specifications
• Gather specific requirements and suggest solutions
• Ability to switch among multiple projects
• Troubleshoot and debug to optimize performance
• Design interfaces to improve user experience
• Liaise with Product development team to plan new features
• Ensure new and legacy applications meet quality standards
• Improve code quality through writing unit tests, automation and performing code reviews
• Research and suggest new mobile products, applications and protocols
• Stay up-to-date with new technology trends

Qualifications

4-6 years of building mobile device apps that have successfully launched.

Proven work experience as a mobile application developer, the ideal candidate will have experience in developing applications from the ground up.

Demonstrable portfolio of released applications on the Android market or App store.

In-depth knowledge of at least one programming language, preferably in Android (Java/Kotlin), with a preference towards candidates who have demonstrated experience in Kotlin.

Experience with third-party libraries and APIs.

Familiarity with Object Oriented programming design principles and software design you should know how to create software that's extensible, reusable and meets desired architectural objectives.

Excellent analytical skills with a good problem-solving attitude.

Ability to perform in a team environment.

Evidence of self-motivation and creativity if you have it, we'd like to see your GitHub/BitBucket portfolio.

Attention to detail and time-management skills.

BS degree in Computer Science or relevant field, or work experience that showcases the ability to deliver in the above areas.
