Description This position is contingent upon successful contract proposal submission and award. Prevailance is seeking an experienced and mission-focused professional to support Afloat Training Group Pacific (ATGPAC) as an Anti-Submarine Tactical Air Controller (ASTAC) . The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in ship Combat Systems, and have significant hands-on expertise in controlling Rotary Wing aircraft in Surface and Anti-Surface Warfare operations, along with a robust understanding of tactical training systems such as BFTT, JSAF, and MARCI, as well as Tactical Data Links. ATGPAC is tasked with training and certifying all Pacific Fleet ships to ensure they meet evolving standards for naval and joint combat operations. This requires a dynamic, flexible approach to training, with ATGPAC delivering both in-person and distributed training across a broad spectrum of maritime missions. Special focus is placed on training shipboard teams to independently maintain and enhance combat readiness throughout deployment cycles. Responsibilities may include but not limited to: Conduct computer-based simulations and Live, Virtual, Constructive (LVC) events in the ATGSD Battle Lab to enhance Pacific Fleet readiness Integrate live and synthetic training for ships and teams, including Final Battle Problems (FBP), Inport Training Exercises (MITE), and certification events Utilize Navy Continuous Training Environment (NCTE), Tactical Data Links (TDL), and the Mission Distribution System (MDS) to create realistic operational scenarios Collaborate with Tactical Training Group Pacific (TTGP) to execute Fleet Synthetic Training (FST) Program events Support the Distributed Training Architecture (DTA) under the guidance of Commander, Pacific Fleet (CPF) Requirements Experience: Must have 5 years of ship Combat Systems experience , including configuration, operation, maintenance, and repair Must have mid-level experience in controlling Rotary Wing aircraft in Surface and Anti-Surface Warfare operations Must have 3 years of experience operating a Navy tactical training system such as BFTT, JSAF, and MARCI System, as well as Tactical Voice/Data Communications Security Clearance: Must possess an active Secret Security Clearance Prevailance, Inc. proudly supports veterans as a member of the V3 (Virginia Values Veterans) program and the Hire Vets initiative.
