Armed Security Officer

Wage: $19.00/ hour

 

Securitas is offering an ARMED training class at the end of August. Candidates must attend a 4-day unpaid training and be available to start work immediately afterward. 

To qualify, you must have:

• At least 1 year of security, law enforcement, or military experience

• A valid driver’s license

• Availability to work in Newport News, VA

The Armed Security Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Frequently our Armed Security Officers will provide customer service and information to a client’s employees and customers and serve as a physical deterrent.
