Furniture Connection, Inc is looking for a creative and talented candidate who has a passion for the latest furniture trends.

In this fun and challenging role, as Visual Merchandiser, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest visual standards in the home furnishings industry while presenting a stage in which to display our products. In addition to creating the experience which is our signature, you will be responsible for weekly store transfers and working with management insuring that inventory is maintained at satisfactory levels.

As a Visual Merchandiser, you will:

• Responsible for the tagging and placement of accessories.
• Ensure the sales floor is displayed to company standards.
• Receive and price all merchandise. Accessories are accurately received, documentation properly completed, and accessories are displayed within 2 days of receipt.
• Accessorize the sales floor, and create beautiful room ideas.
• Redress, retag and move sets that are not performing well, in a timely manner, as noted per management.
• Use creative thinking to place merchandise on the showroom floor to maintain pathways, ensure the showroom is full, and maintains company standards.
• Assist sales associates with merchandise questions.
• Request merchandise in order to fill in spaces on the sales floor.
• Ensure the merchandise in the back room and storage areas is organized.
• Perform other tasks as requested by management.
• Oversee the process of moving merchandise on the floor as requested by the display department or management.

Experience/Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED
• Must be 18 or older.
• Retail visual merchandising experience, preferred.
• Ability to work independently with little supervision/self-motivated.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Must be willing to work extended hours as needed.
• Must be able to operate tools and equipment.
