Title: Azure Cloud Engineer Duration:Months Location: Remote Rate: $60/hr - $70/hr Overview: Seeking a mid-level Azure Architect / Engineer to design, implement, and maintain secure, high-performance Azure infrastructure in a financial-services environment. The role focuses on networking, security, and hybrid connectivity, supporting trading and analytics workloads that demand low latency and high availability. Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and manage Azure networks, ExpressRoute, VPNs, firewalls, and private endpoints.
• Implement and maintain Azure Firewall, Application Gateway, WAF, and Defender for Cloud.
• Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and data-protection standards (SEC, SOC2, etc.).
• Support identity and access management via Azure AD, RBAC, and Conditional Access.
• Troubleshoot performance and connectivity issues across hybrid environments.

• 5-8 years of infrastructure or cloud engineering experience, including 3+ years in Azure.
• Deep knowledge of Azure networking, hybrid connectivity, and cloud security.
• Familiarity with financial-sector compliance and operational best practices.
• Certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-500, or AZ-305 preferred.
