Healthcare Virtual Assistant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Healthcare Virtual Assistant fluent in both Spanish and English, with hands-on experience using eClinicalWorks (ECW). This role supports a fast-paced U.S.-based medical practice, ensuring smooth patient communication, accurate documentation, and efficient administrative workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Schedule and manage patient appointments via eClinicalWorks
• Handle inbound/outbound calls and messages in both Spanish and English
• Maintain and update patient records with precision and confidentiality
• Assist with medical billing, insurance verification, and prior authorizations
• Process referrals and coordinate follow-ups
• Provide empathetic support to patients and relay information to providers
• Utilize Google Workspace and VOIP tools for documentation and communication

Qualifications:

• Proven experience with eClinicalWorks or similar EMR systems
• Fluent in Spanish and English (spoken and written)
• Prior experience in a U.S. healthcare setting preferred
• HIPAA-compliant and trained in patient privacy protocols
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
