Billing Specialist needed Houston, TX

Salary and Benefits:

• Salary $50,000 - $55,000 + Bonuses

Responsibilities:

• Manage billing and collections for Medicare and Medicaid in Texas.
• Oversee credentialing processes.
• Ensure accurate and timely submission of claims.
• Follow up on unpaid claims and resolve billing issues.
• Maintain patient billing records and documentation.
• Collaborate with other departments to improve billing workflows.
• Assist in developing and implementing billing policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• 1–2 years of experience in home health, hospice, and medical equipment billing.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid billing regulations in Texas.
• Experience with credentialing.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
• Proficiency in billing software and Microsoft Office Suite.
