Recruiting Solutions is now seeking Cargo Ramp Loaders for a local airport. Hours are Monday-Thursday either 7am-5:30pm or 5pm-7:30am. Starting pay is $18/hr.

Cargo Ramp Loaders Job Summary:
The Cargo Ramp Loaders are responsible for handling cargo shipments, ensuring the safe and efficient loading, unloading, and transportation of freight, mail, and baggage on and off aircraft. This entry-level position plays a key role in maintaining on-time performance, adhering to safety protocols, and delivering exceptional ground service support.



Cargo Ramp Loaders Key Responsibilities:

• Load and unload cargo and mail from aircraft, carts, and containers.
• Safely operate ramp equipment such as tugs, belt loaders, forklifts, and cargo dollies.
• Perform cargo acceptance checks, including proper documentation and handling of special freight (e.g., perishables, hazardous materials, live animals).
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cargo area and equipment.
• Communicate effectively with team members, flight crew, and dispatchers.
• Follow all airport, airline, and FAA regulations related to ground operations.

Cargo Ramp Loaders Qualifications:

Required:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Must pass background check and obtain airport security clearance.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly in a physically demanding environment.
• Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
