Role Mission

We are seeking a visionary and results-oriented Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to lead our global marketing efforts and drive significant growth. Reporting directly to the CEO, the CMO will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that elevate Ataccama's brand, generate demand, and accelerate our market leadership in the dynamic data management and AI space.

Your Challenge
  • This role is for a strategic leader who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about driving measurable results and building a world-class marketing function.

Growth & Digital

  • Oversee and optimize all aspects of demand generation, including digital marketing, content marketing, SEO/SEM, email marketing, social media, webinars, and events.
  • Drive lead generation, nurturing, and conversion strategies to build a robust sales pipeline and contribute directly to revenue growth.
  • Implement robust analytics and reporting to measure marketing effectiveness, ROI, and campaign performance, continuously optimizing efforts for maximum impact.

Brand & Creative

  • Develop and execute strategy to enhance Ataccama's global brand awareness and reputation as a trusted leader in data management and AI.
  • Be responsible for all creative direction and ensure our visual and narrative voice is compelling and consistent across all touchpoints.

Product Marketing Excellence

  • Partner with the Product team to develop compelling go-to-market strategies for Ataccama ONE and its various modules.
  • Ensure product positioning and messaging clearly articulate business value and differentiation in a crowded market.
  • Oversee the creation of high-impact sales enablement materials and customer-facing content.

Global Communications

  • Manage public relations, analyst relations, and corporate communications to ensure consistent and impactful messaging across all external channels.
  • Champion Ataccama's unique culture and values through external communications.

Strategic Marketing Leadership

  • Develop and implement a holistic, data-driven marketing strategy aligned with Ataccama's overall business goals and growth objectives.
  • Define and refine Ataccama's brand positioning, messaging, and value proposition to resonate with target audiences (Chief Data Officers, data leaders, IT, business stakeholders).
  • Analyze market trends, competitive landscapes, and customer insights to identify new opportunities and inform strategic decisions.
  • Collaborate closely with the CEO, Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), Chief Product Officer (CPO), and other executive leaders to ensure seamless alignment between marketing, sales, and product strategies.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing global marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Attract, develop, and retain top marketing talent, ensuring the team has the skills and resources to achieve ambitious goals.
  • Manage the marketing budget effectively, allocating resources strategically to maximize impact and ROI.
Is This You?
  • Executive Marketing Leadership: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a CMO or Head of Marketing, with 15+ years in overall marketing roles, exclusively within B2B SaaS.
  • Enterprise Go-to-Market: Demonstrable success in developing and executing marketing strategies focused on selling to enterprise-level organizations.
  • Scale-Up Growth Experience: Proven track record in a high-growth scale-up environment, specifically within companies that have scaled from $50M to $500M in ARR. Ideally, you've been a key contributor during a company's growth phase, spanning at least two years and surpassing the $100M ARR mark.
  • AI-First Marketing Acumen: A forward-thinking leader with practical examples of integrating AI tools and innovative use cases into marketing strategies and operations.
  • Robust Growth & Demand Generation: Extensive experience in building and consistently delivering high-quality pipeline through effective growth and demand generation initiatives.
  • Digital Marketing Mastery: Strong command of digital marketing channels, including paid media, SEO, geo-targeting, email marketing, and web conversion optimization. Possesses a deep understanding of evolving digital landscapes, including the impact of generative AI on search.
  • Strategic Field and Partner Marketing: Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic field marketing programs in close collaboration with sales, leveraging customers, partners, and subject matter experts to drive pipeline. Strong expertise in partner marketing is essential.
  • Product Marketing Leadership: Specific examples of category creation, market positioning, and the ability to effectively enable sales while launching impactful marketing campaigns.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: A strong point of view on key board-level marketing metrics and a rigorous approach to assessing marketing ROI.
  • Brand Building in Enterprise: Experience in building strong brands for lesser-known companies within the enterprise space, showcasing cost-effective strategies for increasing awareness.
  • Exceptional People Leader: Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop high-performing global marketing teams.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Strong history of aligning and collaborating effectively with internal and external stakeholders across departments.
