We are looking to staff a part-time
caregiver to start on
November 4 for
Tuesday and Thursday shifts from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM in
Fulton, MD . The position involves providing
companionship and supervision for
two clients with dementia.
At least two years of dementia care experience is required.
Qualifications:
- Will need current CPR and First Aid Certification
- Preferably 2 years of experience in dementia care - Current CNA license - Must have a valid driver's license and auto insurance
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must have good oral and written communication skills
- Must be able to understand care plans and assessments
- Must have current doctor's medical health clearance to work which includes a negative TB Test
Responsibilities to include but not limited to:
- Personal Care (bathing, dressing, and transfers)
- Meal preparation
- Light housekeeping
- Monitor and report physical and behavioral changes
- Assist with medication reminders
- Assist with ambulation
- Monitor BP and glucose levels
Compensation: $22.00 per hour
