Insight Global is seeking a Compensation Analyst for a not-for-profit hospital based in Jupiter, FL. This Analyst will report to the Director of HR Total Rewards and join a team of ten others. The Compensation Analyst will research job requirements and evaluate job positions to ensure the company is competitive in the areas of salaries and employee benefits. They will prepare and maintain job descriptions for each position in the organization; ensures descriptions accurately reflect the work being performed. They will interview and survey employees and managers to gather and document job, organizational, and occupational information including duties, responsibilities, and skills required by each job. The Analyst will assess jobs and their respective duties to determine classification as exempt or nonexempt and appropriate salary range. They will benchmark jobs against survey data and other market intelligence to determine competitive compensation ranges for each position and prepare and maintain job classifications and salary scales. The Analyst will prepare and present summary reports of job analysis and compensation analysis information, gather data from market-based compensation surveys; uses spreadsheet and data analysis techniques to assess results and market trends, evaluate and implement job analysis instruments and materials. They will conduct data and cost analyses.
Must Haves
-1-3 years experience as a Compensation Analyst
-3-5 years of Human Resources experience
-Knowledge of labor laws, such as the Fair Labor Standards Act, and other federal laws regulating employee benefits, compensation, compliance, and privacy standards
-Proficiency with HRIS – Workday preferred
-Strong Excel skills including pivot tables and vlookups
-Make informed decisions based on data and stats – familiar with SullivanCotter, Mercer, MGMA, etc.
