Passionate about shaping the lives of young children? Noah’s Ark Day Care and Learning Center is seeking a patient, attentive Daycare/ Preschool Teachers , both full and part-time, to care for children. Our Daycare/ Preschool Teacher will assist parents with preparing meals, maintaining children’s hygiene, and monitoring health and their behavioral and emotional concerns. We are looking for a daycare employee who comes to work prepared, holds attention to details, engages children with appropriate age activities, and maintains a clean environment for children to thrive in.

Benefits: Salary of $ 17.50 to 18.50/ hour; Paid time off time off

Summary of Position: The Preschool Teacher is responsible for the following duties.

• Motivated to care for and educate young children.
• Team-player, as this position will often require that you will be co-teaching with another teacher.
• Implementing daily activities, weekly themes, art, newsletters, circle-time, music and movement and engaging in activities throughout the day to keep the children stimulated.
• Diapering and potty training if needed.
• Follows a daily schedule.
• Provide a safe and nurturing fun-loving environment.
• Enhance children’s development through play.
• Maintains a safe workplace while monitoring children’s health behavior and reporting any concerns that may arise.

Requirements:

• CDA and or a minimum of an associate degree in Early childhood education, general education, child study or a related field.
• CPR/first aid certificate required.
• Must provide 3 references.
• A valid NYS state driver’s license required.
• Must be willing to take and maintain regular training development courses.
• Someone of good character who truly enjoys working with children.
• Can demonstrate to be professional, reliable and honest.
• Physical Demand: Must be able to lift between 50 pounds
