About the Role

The Client Services team at Zero Hash acts as the customer’s trusted advisor and partner, building and growing an ongoing healthy relationship with each customer and our Liquidity Partners. The Director of Liquidity role is a senior-level position responsible for managing and optimizing the liquidity of digital assets, ensuring smooth trading by attracting liquidity partners, coordinating with projects to facilitate new asset listings, designing and enhancing rebate programs and matching rules, actively monitoring market depth to maintain efficient trading environments across various cryptocurrencies and leading monthly Liquidity Partner meetings.

Key Responsibilities

• Liquidity Strategy Development: Design and implement strategies to attract and maintain deep liquidity across the platform, including identifying key trading pairs and incentivizing liquidity partners through rebates or other mechanisms.
• New Asset Configuration and Listing: Manage the complete catalogue of assets listed for liquidity within Zero Hash Liquidity systems, while managing the listing process and coordinating with legal and compliance teams.
• Liquidity Partner / Market Maker Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with high-volume liquidity partners, negotiating terms and ensuring they actively contribute to liquidity across various trading pairs. This includes providing valued feedback on liquidity partner performance across all assets and internal liquidity models.
• Liquidity Monitoring and Analysis: Continuously monitor market depth, order book imbalances, and trading volume across different cryptocurrencies to identify potential liquidity issues and take corrective actions.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential liquidity risks associated with market volatility, large order executions, and system outages.
• Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze market data to identify trends and opportunities, generate reports on liquidity metrics, and present findings to senior management.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all liquidity activities comply with relevant regulations and anti-money laundering (AML) requirements.
• Global Liquidity: Extend processes and procedures to include all liquidity systems globally across Zero Hash affiliates in various countries and jurisdictions.
• Settlement: Understand settlement needs both internal and external of Zero Hash and liquidity partners to ensure both digital asset and fiat settlement is smooth and fully optimized.

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of cryptocurrency markets: Thorough knowledge of different crypto assets, trading mechanics, and blockchain technology.
• Financial Market Experience: Proven track record in trading, market making, or liquidity management within traditional financial markets and cryptocurrencies/stablecoins.
• Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex market data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
• Relationship Building: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong partnerships with liquidity partners, ecosystems, foundations, and internal stakeholders.
• Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
