Description Entry-level Patient Registration Representative - Full-Time | Multiple Locations in Birmingham, AL Join a fast-paced healthcare team where empathy, professionalism, and dependability matter most. We are currently hiring entry-level Patient Registration Representatives for multiple hospital campuses and emergency departments throughout the Birmingham, AL area. These are full-time, on-site roles supporting critical front-line operations in a healthcare setting. Open Shifts & Schedules Multiple full-time positions available: + Weekend Days: Friday-Sunday, 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM (3x12 hr shifts, 36 hours/week) + Weekday Days: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM (5x8 hr shifts, 40 hours/week) + Early Morning Weekdays: Monday-Friday, 5:30 AM - 2:00 PM (5x8 hr shifts, 40 hours/week) + Emergency Department Roles: + Day and Night shifts available + Mix of weekday and weekend rotations + 3x12 hr shifts per week (36 hours/week) All roles are on-site and involve direct patient interaction. Key Responsibilities + Welcome and register patients in a professional, compassionate manner + Collect and verify demographics, insurance information, and documentation + Utilize hospital systems such as Epic or Cerner to enter data accurately + Coordinate with internal departments to support patient flow + Support team members and step in during high-volume times Requirements Must-Haves: + Strong attendance history and punctuality + Ability to stand and walk 90% of each shift + Completed and positive reference check required before offer Preferred Experience: + Customer service or hospitality experience + Healthcare experience is a plus Top Soft Skills: + Confident, engaging communicator who interviews well + Professional, polished, and punctual + Quick thinker who works well under pressure + Team-oriented with a willingness to help others + Empathetic and patient-focused Dress Code + Business slacks or skirts (must be below-the-knee) + No jeans, open-toe shoes, or large earrings + Minimal piercings (for health/safety compliance) + Business casual tennis shoes permitted If you're dependable, people-focused, and looking for a meaningful role in healthcare, we want to hear from you.
