About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director to lead its global network, which is dedicated to ensuring excellence in education and training for public service and promoting the ideal of public service. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the organization's mission, focusing on strategic leadership, and managing a diverse set of responsibilities. This includes marketing the value of membership, expanding and diversifying revenues, refining the business model, and promoting innovation in public service teaching and learning. The Executive Director will also be tasked with external relations, fund development, and overseeing the organization's infrastructure and team leadership. A key aspect of the role is to work collaboratively with the Executive Council and committees, as well as to engage with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. Candidates for the Executive Director position should have a minimum of 10 years' strategic leadership experience, with at least three years at the executive level, and a strong background in areas such as finance, human resources, operations, data management, marketing, and fund development. The role requires a leader who is passionate about public service, with a servant-leader approach, and who can demonstrate a track record of success in high-growth and change environments. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in a relevant field, be familiar with the accreditation process, and have a deep understanding of the domestic policy landscape. Personal attributes should include exceptional communication skills, a high level of emotional intelligence, and a commitment to the values of the organization.
