Position will start in mid November Pay Rate: $21.00 Union City, CA Job Description Summary: Shift: Mon-Sat, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM Key Responsibilities
- Shipping and Receiving: Assist with all aspects of shipping and receiving, including unloading trucks, inspecting merchandise, verifying purchase orders, and distributing incoming stock.
- Order Fulfillment: Accurately read and process orders to identify items for movement or shipment.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Keep the warehouse clean, safe, and accessible by adhering to all safety guidelines.
- Assembly and Inventory: Assemble products as needed and support with regular inventory counts.
- Logistics Support: Handle driver check-in calls, verify load data, track deliveries, and monitor daily pickups and deliveries to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
Skills & Experience
- Communication: Basic communication and computer skills.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 75 lbs and safely load/unload trucks.
- Flexibility: A flexible schedule to accommodate variable shifts.
- Experience: Experience with docks, trailers, handheld scanners, and freight handling is preferred.
Must be able to pass drug and background check
