Are you a strong, experienced mechanic who takes pride in your work? Do you enjoy working closely with customers to assess, diagnose, and resolve their equipment issues? If so, then PIRTEK Cartersville may be a great fit for you! PIRTEK, the nation's leading provider for on-site hydraulic hose replacement is currently hiring Field Service Mechanics. Our Field Service Mechanics remove, assemble, & install hydraulic hoses on construction equipment, manufacturing equipment, recycling equipment and basically anything fluid power. Our Field Service Mechanics operate out of a PIRTEK Service & Supply Center in a purpose built mobile hose workshop/van.
Job Duties:
- Assess customer needs on hydraulic equipment
- Remove, repair, and/or replace hydraulic hoses
- Visit with active customers to assess needs
- Initiate contact with potential customers to explain our available services
- Work independently
Required qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 2 years experience in trade involving mechanical repair
- Valid Driver's License
- Clean Driving Record - no DUI's in the last 5 years
Compensation Package:
- Wage: $24 per hour - Starting wage based on experience
- Overtime - variable, based on number of service requests
- Bonus - variable, based on jobs completed monthly
- PAID On-The-Job Training
- Company Vehicle - Field Service Mechanics drive their service van to/from work daily
