Basic Function: Responsible for general cleaning and upkeep, including painting of all equipment and production areas. In addition, he or she is responsible for any other task the Plant Manager/ Lean Manufacturing Engineer deems necessary.
Essential Functions:
Communicate effectively with all Team Members
Running floor cleaner as needed
Mopping, sweeping and cleaning floors, walls and equipment
Collecting all trash in around the facility twice a day and disposing of trash properly
Policing the exterior grounds on a weekly basis
Painting as needed
Monitor and empty dust collectors
Replace receptacles for recycling when full. Stage full receptacles in appropriate area.
Oil catch cans on mixers 12 and 16
Stock shelves at mixer stations (gloves, dust masks, tape, etc.)
Work Unsupervised
Log and dispose of Industrial Waste.
Inspect incoming reconditioned drums.
Skills / competencies:
Superior communication skills
Excellent organizational skills
Time management skills
Experience:
Industrial cleaning and/or painting experience preferred, fork lift experience required.
