WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a local contract Centralized Sterile Technician for a local contract job in Westchester, New York.

Job Description & Requirements

Immediate opening in a premier hospital in Westchester for a Central Sterile Technician to work with top notch surgeons in the area.

Job Function:

\n

• Evening Shift or Night Shift.
\n
• 3pm-11pm or 11pm – 7am.
\n
• Central Processing Technician is responsible for cleaning, organizing, wrapping and sterilizing instrumentation
\n
• Assuring all instrumentation and equipment is maintained in an optimal manner
\n
• Follows proper Standard Precautions while in decontamination and sterilization areas
\n
• Monitors biological and chemical wash solution to ensure quality and consistency for decontamination of instruments and medical equipment
\n
• Sorts mismatched sets of instruments, trays, and medical equipment and makes them available to sterile processing customers in a timely manner

Job Requirements:

\n

• High School graduate or equivalence.
\n
• Three years experience in Central Service.
\n
• CRCST (Certified Registered Central Sterile Technician) or CSPDT (Central Sterile Processing Distribution Technician).
