Pride Health is hiring a Medical Lab Scientist to support our client’s medical facility in Jacksonville, FL 32204. This is a 3-month assignment with the possibility of a contract-to-hire opportunity, and it's a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

\nJob Title: Medical Lab Scientist
\nLocation: Jacksonville, FL 32204
\nDuration: 3 Months
\nPay range: $35per hour - $38per hour
\nSchedule : 3x12 Days

\nKey Responsibilities:

 

To verify specimen acceptability for testing according to established criteria.
\nTo perform routine and complex laboratory tests following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
\nTo operate, monitor, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments to ensure proper functionality.
\nTo make technical decisions regarding testing and resolve problems effectively.
\nTo prepare, test, and evaluate new reagents and quality control materials.
\nTo accurately report test results in a timely manner to support quality patient care.
\nYou will have to document and perform preventive maintenance and quality control procedures.
\nTo maintain adequate inventory of bench supplies and replenish as needed.
\nTo assist with specimen processing when required.
\nTo perform routine and complex tests across assigned disciplines (e.g., chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, immunoassay, microbiology, transfusion services).

 

Certifications:
\nASCP
\nAMT 
\nFL state License
\nBLS

 

Education:
\nBachelor's Degree

 

Experience
\n2-4 Years of Experience as a Medical Technologist/Medical Lab Scientist.
