LPN - Senior Living Community

We are seeking a licensed Practical Nurse to show off their leadership talent while maintaining excellent relationships and providing great care for our residents at our senior living community in the South Hill area of Spokane. This position would support our Director of Health and Wellness.

Job Description

• Support the Director of Health & Wellness with daily operations in Assisted Living and Memory Care
• Work directly with residents to evaluate needs and services to accurately assess, communicate and document resident status
• Assist med techs and care staff with responsibilities as required
• Complies with community policies and procedures for workplace safety, including infection control procedures, emergency response, and safety protocols.
• Other leadership duties as needed

Qualifications

• Love for seniors!
• Current LPN license
• Experience in Assisted Living, Geriatric Nursing or Gerontology and/or Dementia Care
• CPR and First Aid certification or successfully achieved within 30 days of employment if required by State Standards.
• Knowledge of how to develop and utilize service plans, medication management systems, infection control practices and safety procedures
• Skills in promoting teamwork, leadership, team member empowerment, and responsiveness to residents
