Job Details:
We are currently seeking a dynamic, highly skilled, and self-motivated Maintenance Technician to join our first shift team in our fast-paced food manufacturing environment. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers a competitive salary and benefits package. The ideal candidate will have broad experience in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing various types of food manufacturing equipment. This includes an in-depth understanding of electrical troubleshooting, pneumatics, motors, electrical controls, conveyor systems, and boilers. If you are a problem solver who enjoys working with your hands and has a passion for machinery, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:
1. Perform routine and preventive maintenance on all production and operating equipment.
2. Troubleshoot and repair electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical failures to ensure maximum operational efficiency, safety, and reliability.
3. Maintain and repair conveyor systems to ensure smooth operations.
4. Diagnose and repair faults in motors and electrical controls.
5. Regularly inspect boilers and related components, perform necessary repairs and routine maintenance.
6. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance work performed and any changes made to machinery or equipment.
7. Adhere to all safety procedures and maintain a safe and clean work environment.
8. Collaborate with the production team to ensure machinery is in optimal working condition and minimize downtime.
9. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and suggest ways to improve the efficiency of our operations.

Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the food manufacturing industry.
2. Proven experience with electrical troubleshooting, pneumatics, motors, electrical controls, conveyor systems, and boilers.
3. Technical degree or certification in a related field is highly desired.
4. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
5. Excellent understanding of safety procedures for both electrical and mechanical maintenance work.
6. Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
7. Proficient with hand and power tools.
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
9. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
10. Physical ability to lift heavy machinery and work in confined spaces.
11. Willingness to work in shifts and be on call for emergencies.
