Job Description

Palm Medical Centers (PMC) is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Manager to lead our healthcare analytics initiatives. This role will work closely with corporate teams and health plan partners to deliver actionable data insights, develop reporting solutions, and drive strategic decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, experience with healthcare data, and a collaborative mindset to influence positive business outcomes.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Conduct root-cause analyses of data anomalies and provide clear, actionable solutions.
• Manage multiple analytics projects with minimal supervision, ensuring timely delivery in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and validate data outputs.
• Support the design, testing, and implementation of scalable data processes and identify opportunities for automation.
• Analyze complex datasets from various sources (e.g., claims, provider, member, encounter data) to identify trends and business impacts.
• Develop, execute, and maintain advanced SQL queries, Excel reports, and other analytics tools.
• Use AI and machine learning methods to develop predictive insights and enhance decision-making.
• Present findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders in a clear and compelling way.
• Serve as a key liaison between analytics and business units, translating data into actionable strategies.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Advanced proficiency in SQL and Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in AI and Machine Learning applications.
• Solid understanding of database structure, design, and computer languages.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
• Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• High level of integrity and adherence to business ethics and confidentiality standards.

Education/Experience:

• Experience in data analytics, data management, and data quality control required.
• Managed Care or Medicare Advantage healthcare experience highly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.

Physical Demand:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
• Majority of work is performed in a corporate office setting, indoors.
• Travel may be required.

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
