Hours 8:00 am – 4:30 pm (Mon-Fri) Onsite Base pay range $103,510.00/yr - $137,121.60/yr Compensation At S&C, we are dedicated to providing competitive and equitable compensation for all our team members, and we are committed to transparency in our pay practices. The estimated annual base salary range for this position is $103,510 - $137,121.60. Individual pay within this salary range is determined by several compensable factors, including performance, knowledge, job-related skills and experience, and relevant education or training. This role is also eligible for S&C’s annual incentive plan (AIP), subject to eligibility criteria. Responsibilities Oversee Chicago and Franklin, WI security operations, provide supervision and direction for security team members, and report to the Director of Global Security. Demonstrate professionalism and urgency with team members within the security department; project and encourage an elevated level of professionalism; contract security account management experience and travel security experience; willingness to function as needed; change management and leadership. Be responsible for staying current on relevant technical or other specialized subjects. Initiate decisions regarding hires, promotions, corrective actions, and terminations; identify individual training and skill development criteria to meet departmental/divisional needs. Independently analyze available data to decide on present and future organizational requirements. Willing to step into any role within this department when needed. What you’ll need to succeed / Qualifications Associate degree in criminal justice or related field preferred Minimum 7 years of security or related background; industrial security, law enforcement, or military experience preferred, plus 3 years of leadership experience and direct project management Must provide proof of a valid Illinois driver’s license, FOID, 40-Hour Security Training, PERC, and the ability to obtain the Firearm Control Card FCC Technical aptitude and knowledge of security systems and equipment Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, e.g., 4-Step Problem Solving process Proven team-building and change-management skills to coach, mentor, and empower team members Proficient PC skills, including MS Office About Us In 1909, S&C Electric Company transformed the delivery of safe, reliable electricity with the invention of the Liquid Power Fuse.
