We are looking for the best of the best to join our team to deliver massage therapy to our clients. As a small business growing in the area we are looking to invest in a self-driven individual looking to deliver exceptional customer service to our clients.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in swedish (relaxation), deep tissue, sports, and prenatal massage. The LMT will need to be knowledgeable about acute and chronic pain management. This role requires a deep understanding of human physiology and anatomy, as well as the ability to educate clients and provide exceptional client service.
Responsibilities:
- Develop personalized massage therapy plans based on clients' specific needs and goals.
- Perform various massage techniques including deep tissue massage, to alleviate pain, reduce stress, and promote overall wellness.
- Provide patient education on proper stretching, exercise, and self-care techniques to help clients maintain optimal health and prevent future injuries.
- Maintain accurate records of client sessions, including treatment plans and progress notes.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans for clients with chronic pain or other health concerns.
- Stay current with industry developments and best practices in massage therapy by attending continuing education courses and workshops.
Requirements:
- License or certification as a massage therapist in the state of Ohio
- Private Liability Insurance as a massage therapist in the state of Ohio.
- Strong knowledge of human physiology and anatomy.
- Ability to perform physical examinations and provide patient service.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and occupational health.
- Experience working in a med spa or other healthcare setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Commitment to ongoing education and professional development.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Word required, basic knowledge of Power Point and Excel preferred.
- Bonus if you're comfortable using Canva and know your way around social platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook there may be additional opportunities for growth and Pay.
