Job Description

Overview Materials Handler - Hospital We are seeking a dedicated Materials Handler to join our team in a hospital environment. This role involves order fulfillment and delivery to various areas within the hospital. You will be responsible for receiving freight, scanning inventory into the system, and accurately stocking hospital supplies in the stockroom. Utilizing handheld devices, you will pick orders, place items into totes, and deliver them to the designated areas within the hospital. Responsibilities Receive freight and accurately scan inventory into the system. Stock hospital supplies in the stockroom. Pick orders using handheld devices and carts. Place items into totes and deliver them to designated areas within the hospital. Ensure all tasks are performed in a sterile hospital environment. Qualifications Essential Skills Experience with stock and inventory management. Proficiency in using ERP systems and handheld scanners. Ability to perform picking, packing, and labeling tasks. Basic computer skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience working in a hospital or sterile environment is a significant advantage. Entry-level experience in stocking or warehousing is acceptable. Experience in a non-union environment is beneficial. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work is conducted inside the hospital, with no off-campus deliveries. You will work from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday. Scrubs are mandatory and provided by the hospital. You will have the opportunity to interact with patients, doctors, nurses, and stockroom employees. Initial training includes shadowing an experienced materials associate. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Portland, Oregon. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
