Metal Arts & Fabrication Technician (Part-Time)
I. Position Summary
We are seeking a versatile and highly motivated individual to join our growing fabrication team. This is a crucial part-time position focused on the artistic and technical finishing of metal art products, utilizing various welding and finishing techniques. The successful candidate will play a key role in production and quality control, with a clear path to full-time employment in 2026 as our company scales.
II. Core Responsibilities
The Technician's duties will span both metal fabrication and essential shop operations:
Metal Fabrication & Arts: Perform high-quality TIG and Oxy-Acetylene welding for artistic and structural components.
Welding Variety: Demonstrate proficiency in, or willingness to learn, various welding processes including TIG, MIG, and Stick welding.
Finishing: Execute metal finishing tasks, ensuring all products meet high aesthetic and structural standards.
Order Distribution: Assist with the packaging, documentation, and coordination of finished product orders for distribution.
Shop Support: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace; assist with general production needs as required.
III. Qualifications & Requirements
Experience: Previous welding experience is preferred, or a demonstrated aptitude and strong willingness to learn the necessary skills is acceptable.
Technical Skills: Familiarity with welding equipment (TIG, MIG, Stick) and metal finishing tools is a plus.
Aptitude: Must be a quick learner, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with precision.
Physical Requirements: Ability to safely lift and maneuver materials, and stand for extended periods.
IV. Schedule & Growth Potential
Schedule: Part-time hours initially.
Growth: This role is designed to transition into a full-time position in 2026 as the company continues its growth trajectory and capital allows.
