This role requires excellent animal handling skills and the ability to create a positive experience for both pets and their owners.

Responsibilities

• Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and nail clipping for various breeds of dogs and cats.
• Assess the condition of pets' coats and skin, identifying any health issues that may require attention.
• Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized after each use.
• Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets' grooming needs and any observed health concerns.
• Provide excellent customer service by creating a welcoming environment for pets and their owners.
• Handle animals safely and compassionately, using appropriate restraint techniques when necessary.
• Stay updated on grooming trends, techniques, and best practices to enhance service quality.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in pet grooming or related fields such as veterinary technician or animal care is preferred.
• Strong animal handling skills with the ability to work with various breeds and temperaments.
• Knowledge of pet care practices, including basic veterinary knowledge, is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with pet owners and team members.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Certification in pet grooming or related fields is a plus but not required.
• A genuine love for animals and commitment to their well-being is essential.
