We are seeking an experienced Balancing Technician to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for balancing rotating equipment—ranging from routine to moderately complex assemblies. This position plays a key role in ensuring reliability and performance of critical industrial equipment.

Candidates with Motor Vehicle assembly and/or NDT Certifications are highly encouraged to apply!

Job Details

What You’ll Do:

Review job paperwork to determine work scope, customer requirements, and equipment specifications
Perform testing of electromechanical equipment to identify issues and recommend corrective actions
Diagnose mechanical and electrical abnormalities in rotating equipment during testing
Use precision tools and equipment including Data Collectors, Stroboscope, ICM Balancing Program, Vibration Meters, Thermal Imaging, Dial Indicators, Ultrasonic Testers, and shop balance machines
Inspect, adjust, and correct balance on rotating assemblies
Follow safety and operational procedures while handling heavy equipment and tools

What We’re Looking For:

Minimum 3 years of balancing experience required
Basic knowledge of mechanical systems
2 years of hands-on mechanical or electrical experience preferred
Ability to obtain Vibration Institute Certification (Category I or II) within one year of employment
Proficiency with basic math functions including fractions and decimals
Ability to read, write, and follow moderately complex instructions
Strong initiative, judgment, and decision-making skills
