MRSGM NA Marketing & Events Coordinator Munich Re Specialty Global Markets North America (MRSGM N.A.) is looking for enthusiastic individuals to join us as we grow. As part of Munich Re Group, we are a unique organization providing expertise in specialty and marine lines of insurance as well as surety risks and customs bonds with in‑house claims solutions. We are seeking a full‑time Marketing & Events Coordinator to join the Shared Services division as a hybrid employee in our Schaumburg, IL office reporting to the VP, Marketing. Job Profile Coordinate all aspects of event logistics, including exhibitor kits, shipping, promotional materials, and event deliverables (ads, videos, print, giveaways, etc.). Manage internal communications related to event participation, including registration reminders, travel information, and post‑event follow‑ups. Collaborate with the Senior Marketing Lead to support event timelines, vendor coordination, and task management. Maintain and organize marketing materials and digital assets within SharePoint and other marketing platforms. Assist with CRM list management, marketing automation tasks, and updates to digital marketing materials. Support social media promotion and video content creation to extend event and brand visibility before, during, and after events. Job Requirements 1–3 years of experience in marketing coordination, event planning, or a related area. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field preferred. Professional certification(s) in event planning, digital marketing, or project management (e.g., CMP, Act‑On, Hootsuite or similar) a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with SharePoint or other content management tools. Experience using CRM and/or marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Act‑On, or similar). Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Collaborative, team‑oriented mindset with a proactive and solution‑driven approach. Creative thinker with the ability to adapt to evolving marketing needs and deadlines. Salary & Benefits Salary range for the Schaumburg, IL location: $50,000 to $70,000 annually. Most candidates will start in the bottom half of the range.
