Provider (PA or CNP) - Neurology & Sleep Location: Rapid City, SD Full-Time, permanent position Position OverviewSeeking a Certified Nurse Practitioner (CNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join the Neurology and Rehabilitation team in Rapid City. This role provides collaborative, patient-centered care under physician supervision with a primary focus on outpatient services.Position Highlights Predominantly outpatient role ( 20% inpatient) No OR or Emergency Department/unassigned call requirement Opportunity to perform select procedures and provide first assist coverage as appropriate Collaborative, multidisciplinary environment focused on quality outcomes Shared call responsibilities within the practice Emphasis on continuity of care and patient relationship managementResponsibilities Assess, diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic neurologic and rehabilitation patients Develop and adjust care plans in coordination with supervising physicians Order and interpret appropriate tests, procedures, and therapies Provide timely and accurate documentation per facility standards Demonstrate sound clinical judgment and evidence-based practice Recognize and address physical, developmental, and psychosocial patient needs Coordinate care transitions and specialist referrals as neededQualifications Certified Nurse Practitioner (CNP) - South Dakota Board of Nursing or Wyoming State Board of Nursing or Physician Assistant (PA) - South Dakota Board of Medical and Osteopathic Examiners or Wyoming Board of Medicine 1+ years of clinical experience preferred Strong interpersonal, critical thinking, and patient communication skillsWork Schedule Full-time, 40 hours per week Primarily daytime, weekday schedule
