Onboarding Specialist

At CSI, our people make all the difference. We are actively seeking an Onboarding Specialist who is responsible for the timely and accurate onboarding of new hires and rehires, to ensure clearance of background checks and all requirements for compliance purposes. Effectively works with each new hire to complete their onboarding tasks, compliance requirements, and health screenings prior to their start date. The Onboarding Specialist will also collaborate with multiple departments throughout the organization. The ideal candidate will be driven to succeed, organized, thrive in a fast-paced environment, have strong interpersonal and communication skills, and be a team player.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Processing new hire paperwork for external employees including running background checks, drug screens and I-9 Forms.
• Sending external employee agreements, offer letters, and contracts.
• Guiding new consultants through the hiring and onboarding process
• Providing administrative support to external and internal employees
• Answering and directing incoming phone calls
• Assists Payroll department to ensure consultant timesheets are submitted on time and correctly.
• Assists in the communication between Sales Managers and Recruiters by sitting on calls/meetings and answering questions as needed.
• Become a subject matter expert on Vendor Management Systems (VMS) and assist internal and external employees with submissions and any other issues that may arise.
• Assisting with projects as needed for the Sales and Recruiting Team
• Performs other duties as assigned or required

Required Skills/Experience:

• Ability to work independently with minimal direction and supervision.
• Ability to be proactive, prioritize work, and handle multiple assignments simultaneously.
• Experience in a fast-paced, efficiency-focused environment is a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and clients, establishing and maintaining effective working relationships
• Demonstrates resiliency, shows initiative, driven, and persistent.
• Ability to handle competing priorities in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint); knowledge of LinkedIn and ZoomInfo preferred
• Bachelor’s degree (relevant experience in lieu of education may be considered)
