Job Title: Pharmacy Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, managing inventory, and providing excellent customer service to patients. This role is essential in ensuring the safe and effective delivery of pharmaceutical care. Compounding Experience Required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescription medications.
  • Manage inventory, including ordering, receiving, and stocking medications and supplies.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and medication profiles.
  • Provide information and answer questions from patients regarding medications and health products.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards in the pharmacy.
  • Process insurance claims and handle billing inquiries.
  • Support the pharmacist in patient counseling and medication therapy management.

Job Type: Full-Time

Pay: From $21 - $25/hour based on experience

Schedule:

  • Flexible Schedule
  • No Weekends
  • Monday - Friday

Requirements:

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) or Registered Pharmacy Technician (RPhT) is required
  • State License required
  • Non-Sterile Compounding experience preferred
  • Sterile compounding experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of Pioneer Software System preferred
  • Previous experience in Retail Pharmacy required.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication preparation.
  • Customer Service 
  • Self-driven
  • Innovative approach to challenges and opportunities
  • Open-minded and positive attitude
  • Strong Organizational skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Teams
