Yakult USA, the world’s leading probiotic drink manufacturer, is hiring a PR Assistant. The ideal candidate is an outgoing and approachable professional who has a minimum of two years of relevant full-time work experience and exceptional public speaking and interpersonal skills.

• Location: Fountain Valley, CA
• Direct Hire with Great Benefit (Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, 401K etc)
• Pay: $22.50 ~ $24.50/hr
• Work Hour: Monday - Friday, 9:00am ~ 6:00pm

Requirements of the PR Assistant:

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field such as Public Relations, Marketing, Business is preferred.
• At least 1-2 years of full-time related experience, preferably in the food and beverage industry
• Experience with public speaking
• Excellent communication and presentation skill
• Outgoing and friendly personality
• Able to work independently
• Able to travel to various related events
• Occasional overtime and/or weekend work is required
• Valid Driver's License is required

Responsibilities of the PR Assistant:

• Coordinate factory tours; including promoting the tours, taking reservations, and planning schedules.
• Execute factory tours including guiding visitors through the factory.
• Confirm the satisfaction of visitors by analyzing factory tour questionnaires.
• Organize logistics and execution of PR events.
• Support "Corporate Social Responsibility" ("CSR") activities by creating company policy, announcing the policy to the public, analyzing company activities, and guiding the modification of the activities if needed.
• Processes applications to attend events, and arrange the event venue.
• Travel to industry-related events and promote/distribute product information.
• Maintain inventory of event supplies, novelty goods, place orders for supplies, oversee office storage.
• Prepare and update Public Relations materials, including factory tour brochures, event materials, and other promotional materials.
• Pick up / delivery product as needed
• Wear the Yakult Man costume at the end of each factory tour for visitors to take photos with the company mascot.
• Collect feedback about products from visitors to PR events, and make analysis.
• Organize and maintain files and records for PR activities.
• Support other PR activities as needed based on supervisors' requests.
• Occasional overtime and/or weekend work is required
• Perform any other duties assigned
