Transform the every day with us! Siemens Industry is looking for a Design Engineer for our Fort Worth, TX factory. Our facility is growing and has employees that will produce high-quality, engineered and made-to-order switchboards. The Systems design Engineer is responsible for preparing recommendations for the design and development of new products or changes in existing products.
You will make an impact by: - Assists in the planning of detailed product development objectives.
- Participates in the preparation of sketches, design layouts, and other specifications.
- Participating in the review of results to determine that such products perform in the intended manner
- Prepares prototypes for testing and provides technical assistance on design feasibility.
- Assists in standardizing materials, components and assemblies to minimize the items procured and manufactured.
- Learns complex product engineering while assisting in the development of new and improved products.
You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications: Basic Qualifications: - Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 1 year experience working as a Product Development or Design Engineer or recent college graduate.
- Experience with Pro-E/Creo
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications: - Power Panel/Switchboard/Switchgear (or similar products application or design experience)
- Electrical schematics understanding
