Sign-on Bonus: $5,000.00

Location : Port Charlotte, FL On-site (18300 Murdock Cir)

Status : Full time

Schedule: Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:30pm

Radiology Regional is one of the largest physician-driven diagnostic imaging providers, with 13 imaging centers, in Southwest Florida. We are seeking a basic machine operator with a passion to care for others in the communities we serve. For over 50 years we have earned trust and confidence because of their patient care experience.

Essential Duties for a Radiographer:

• Receives and follows directives and instructions from radiologists, diagnostic imaging center manager, and technical director to properly perform the positions functions.
• Calculates and selects proper technical factors such as voltage, current, exposure time, focal distance, etc., based on information such as patient age, physical condition, and suspected pathology.
• Schedules patient examinations according to physicians orders as directed.
• Explain proper preparation to patients prior to procedure.
• Develops mammography films and related dark room duties, in addition to understanding the CR system and equipment.

• Required: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program or equivalent hospital-based program.
• Required: Current ARRT and State of Florida license.
• Required: CPR Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Experience Required: None
• Preferred: Radiography experience in an outpatient setting.
