Title: Residential Electrician (DIR Certified)
Location: Greenbrae, CA
Hours: Full-Time
Salary Range: $75,000 - $83,200 annually with expected raise based upon performance after 90 days
What You’ll Be Doing:
Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems in occupied apartments according to the National Electrical Code and company standards.
Provide excellent customer service, addressing resident requests promptly and professionally, and striving to exceed expectations.
Collaborate closely with team members, contractors, and supervisors, supporting colleagues and contributing to team success.
Independently manage schedules, prioritize tasks, and communicate effectively with dispatch to ensure timely project completion.
Assess and order materials needed for each project, track deliveries, and maintain an organized work environment.
Perform technical tasks including opening drywall, drilling through studs, and installing new panels, following safety protocols at all times.
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve electrical issues to maintain safety, functionality, and compliance with regulations.
Maintain accurate documentation of work completed, materials used, and hours worked.
Participate in continuous learning, including safety trainings, process improvements, and skills development.
Support environmental sustainability by following eco-friendly practices and minimizing waste when possible.
What You Bring:
DIR Certification demonstrating at least 4,800 hours of work with an electrical contractor on systems under the National Electrical Code.
Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on providing courteous and professional customer service.
Collaborative team mindset with willingness to assist colleagues and participate in problem-solving initiatives.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to coordinate with dispatch, residents, and team members.
Strong organizational skills to manage schedules, prioritize tasks, and coordinate materials efficiently.
Technical expertise in residential electrical systems, including material calculation, drywall opening, stud drilling, and panel installation.
Problem-solving mindset with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues efficiently.
Commitment to safety, regulatory compliance, and maintaining a professional, organized work environment.
Adaptability and flexibility to handle changing priorities, varying tasks, and occasional emergency situations.
Respectful and inclusive attitude toward colleagues, residents, and contractors.

Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience working in residential settings.
Familiarity with local building codes and regulations.
