SAFe Senior Product Owner/Product Manager

Location: Jersey City, NJ

Duration: 6Months+ Extension

Job Summary

The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the successful planning, execution, and delivery of various projects. As a SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager, the role will involve defining and prioritizing product features, managing the product backlog, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure product success.

Key Responsibilities

• 1. Lead and manage cross functional project teams to ensure timely completion of projects within budget and scope
• 2. Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders
• 3. Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets
• 4. Identify and resolve project issues and risks, escalating when necessary
• 5. Conduct project reviews and ensure compliance with quality standards
• 6. Define product features, prioritize the product backlog, and work closely with the development team
• 7. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure product vision and goals are understood and implemented
• 8. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform product decisions
• 9. Ensure product success through effective collaboration, communication, and continuous improvement

Skill Requirements

• 1. Strong knowledge and experience in project management methodologies and tools
• 2. Proven experience as a safe product owner/product manager in an agile environment
• 3. Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• 4. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• 5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• 6. Understanding of software development lifecycle and principles
• 7. Certification in safe or project management (e.g., safe product owner/product manager, pmp) is preferred
