Security Officer - Armed Patrol Driver

As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a chemical and petrochemical environment, you will conduct routine patrols and remain visible throughout the location to help deter security-related incidents. This is an armed and driving post, where you will respond to situations as needed and provide exceptional customer service while upholding our values of agility, reliability, and teamwork. Your presence and professionalism will help maintain a secure environment for all.

What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the chemical and petrochemical location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities.

+ Monitor for suspicious activity or persons and report findings to the appropriate personnel.

+ Control access to restricted areas within the location, verifying credentials as required.

+ Assist with the enforcement of company policies and procedures related to security-related matters.

+ Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders as needed.

+ Document patrols, incidents, and security-related activities in detailed reports.

Minimum Requirements:

+ At least one year of experience in armed security, law enforcement, and/or military is required.

+ A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
