They are hiring a Senior Estimator - Electrical & Lighting Systems to help support company growth as they continue to expand. The Senior Estimator - Electrical & Lighting Systems will work with internal and external teams to formulate proposals, bids, and quotes for a variety of lighting projects. This person will leverage an expertise in processing high-value lighting requests as well as strong creative skills and business acumen to support the company’s goals. Focus: Establish and cultivate relationships with customers, internal and external teams, and manufacturers. Negotiate buyouts as necessary. Generate competitive quotes for projects that reflect current market. Create, complete, and file all documentation for bids. Oversee project workflow and ensure orders are completed in a timely manner to customers’ specifications. Follow up with all contacts as needed from bid through quote to order reception. Maintain working knowledge of company’s product line to drive comprehensive bids. Provide excellent customer service to clients. Skill Set: ~4+ years of experience in delivering quotes for large lighting projects ($1M+). ~ Experience in completing, evaluating, and submitting bids, and experience with buy outs. ~ Understanding of lighting products, solutions, regulations, and the industry. ~ Strong background in electrical systems, particularly control systems. ~ Proven ability to successfully handle multiple projects simultaneously and make independent pricing decisions. ~ Keen mathematical ability, to be able to deliver detailed and accurate appraisals. ~ Expertise in MS Office and other computer systems.
