Summary:

As a Senior Healthcare Recruiter, you will be responsible for the placement and ongoing oversight of clinicians throughout the nation. You will collaborate closely with the Account Management team to identify, present, and hire top travel clinicians based on the unique needs of contracted healthcare facilities, while also generating your own leads to build a strong candidate pipeline. You will cultivate strong relationships with candidates to effectively meet staffing needs, ensuring the successful placement and ongoing management of qualified candidates throughout their employment with FlexCare. This is a fully remote position and requires a minimum of 3 years' previous experience in a similar role within the travel healthcare staffing industry.

Essential Functions:

  • Develop strategies to effectively source and engage clinicians, using digital platforms and tools to reach candidates in your assigned geographic market.
  • Consistently build a pipeline of candidate leads through targeted planning, outreach efforts, and referral networks.
  • Act as the single point of contact for their own team of clinicians from the initial contact through the duration of their employment with FlexCare.
  • Build and maintain lasting relationships with clinicians.
  • Leverage understanding of region-specific healthcare regulations, facility needs, and clinician expectations to recruit and place candidates in acute-care specialties throughout the nation.
  • Identify and assess clinicians' strengths, needs, and wants and match with current opportunities.
  • Educate clinicians on compensation package options and articulate the benefits.
  • Outline wage rates, other terms and conditions of employment, and gain commitment from clinicians for current and future job requirements.
  • Complete all aspects of the pre-employment processes including resume building, reference checks, background/drug tests, and pre-employment testing.
  • Responsible for all compliance requirements, including tracking and updating various certifications, medical documents, and employment-related documents.
  • Manage contract employees while on assignment.
  • Work with Account Managers to identify top facility accounts, target clinical skill sets and assess facility staffing requirements.
  • Be available as needed before/after typical office hours.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as interpersonal skills.
  • Highly proficient in remote communication methods (video conferencing, instant messaging, and virtual collaboration tools) and comfortable managing internal relationships virtually.
  • Familiarity with specific regional markets (as applicable) and understanding of unique hiring needs, compensation trends, and staffing challenges within those regions.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Highly self-driven and able to thrive in a self-directed work environment, demonstrating initiative and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with all departments as well as function independently.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Strong ability to multi-task as department or workload dictates.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, web-based databases and internet savvy.
  • Have a desire to learn and advance in a fast-paced sales environment and be capable of regularly using good judgment and discretion to accomplish goals and work requirements.

Education and Experience:

  • A minimum of 3 years' recruiting experience placing R.N. and Allied Health clinicians on temporary travel contract assignments is required, strong preference for 5+ years' experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to be successful working in a fully remote setting.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of and ability to articulate the benefits of available travel clinician contract assignments within designated region(s) is strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with candidate relationship management (CRM)/applicant tracking systems (ATS), such as Salesforce, is highly desired.

Supervisory Responsibility:

This role will act as the single point of contact during assignments and handle any escalations for their team of clinicians.

Pay Transparency Information:

At FlexCare Medical Staffing, we believe that pay transparency is essential for building trust and supporting a culture of fairness and accountability. To reinforce this commitment, we provide a clear range for each role's potential compensation, which includes both base salary and variable incentives.

For this role, the estimated annual compensation is between $61,772 - $170,000 USD, with the final compensation amount determined based on factors such as relevant experience, education, skills, role requirements, and location.
