Overview Contract Professionals Inc. is seeking a Senior Material Handling Associate to join our team in Scottsdale, AZ. In this role, you will be responsible for managing materials to support production requirements, ensuring proper handling, inventory control, and documentation. This position requires strong organizational and communication skills as well as the ability to support fast-paced production operations. Key Responsibilities Perform material handling functions, including tracking, expediting, and picking materials for the manufacturing floor. Review stock records and prepare purchase orders to ensure adequate supply against production needs. Identify material shortages and support problem-solving resolutions. Document and distribute scrap/salvage parts as needed. Communicate effectively with coworkers, planners, material managers, and internal customers. Coordinate and prioritize daily activities independently. Handle and process classified material as required. Kit daily or weekly assembly picks according to job function. Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent plus a minimum of 2 years of related experience. General knowledge of material planning, inventory control, and bill of material processes. Familiarity with manufacturing/test documentation and drawing tree concepts. Strong organizational skills with the ability to adapt and remain flexible. Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to use enterprise software and associated data systems. Ability to recognize schedule priorities and work with minimal supervision. Knowledge of Government/Customer Property Control is a plus. Desired Traits Team-oriented with strong problem-solving skills. Detail-oriented with the ability to meet deadlines.
