Senior Security Specialist IV Special Programs

Security Clearance Required: Active Top Secret

Responsibilities

• Obtain access to Special Access Program (SAP), Control Access Program (CAP), and/or Alternate Compensatory Control Measures (ACCM) information for NGA's Sensitive Program Mission.
• Provide subject matter expertise and support for all activities related to Special Programs.
• Monitor and manage security programs, providing status reports and recommendations.
• Coordinate with other SIS offices and divisions.
• Develop solutions and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with security policies and procedures.
• Maintain records and prepare reports and briefings.
• Manage project milestones and security actions.
• Liaise with DoD, IC, and other officials to stay updated on personnel security matters.
• Interpret and apply security policies related to classified materials and SCI control.
• Conduct risk assessments and provide impact statements and recommendations.
• Prepare Program Access Requests (PAR) for various security programs.
• Utilize security systems and databases such as JADE, DISS, SIC, among others.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma with at least five years of experience in supporting or conducting sensitive operational or technical activities within DoD or IC.
• Knowledge of Executive Orders 12333 and 13526, ICD 906 & 705, and DoD Manual 5205.07 standards.
• Completion of DoD course: CDSE SAP 101.10.

Preferred Skills

• Certification: DOD CDSE SECURITY FUNDAMENTALS PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATION (SFPC).
• Experience with security databases: JADE, DISS, SIC, Scattered Castles, ICCARS, PULSE, E2SP.
