Job Description
As a Shipping Crane Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating cranes to load and unload cargo from train carts as well as moving containers and equipment within the scrapyard If you have a strong background in crane operations and a commitment to safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate cranes to load and unload cargo from industry
- Ensure safe and efficient operation of cranes, following all safety protocols and regulations
- Conduct pre-operational checks on cranes and report any issues or defects
- Collaborate with supervisors
- Maintain accurate records of crane operations
Requirements:
- Valid crane operator certification (e.g. OSHA, NCCCO)
- 2+ years of experience operating cranes in industrial industry or shipping environment
- Availability to work 1st, 2nd and 3rd, all the three shifts.
