🚛 Now Hiring: Shipping Lead

📍Artemis Staffing | 💼 Full-Time | 💲 $15–$25/hour

Are you an experienced logistics professional with a passion for efficiency and leadership? Join our team as a Shipping Lead and take charge of coordinating and streamlining our shipping and receiving operations.

We’re looking for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and ready to lead a team to success while ensuring timely and cost-effective deliveries.

🔑 What You’ll Do

• Oversee all shipping and receiving activities, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods
• Lead, train, and schedule shipping staff while conducting performance reviews
• Monitor inventory levels and work closely with warehouse and procurement teams
• Negotiate with freight carriers and 3PL partners to secure the best rates and service
• Prepare shipping documents, including bills of lading, invoices, and customs forms
• Ensure full compliance with local, federal, and international shipping regulations
• Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
• Manage packaging, labeling, and damage/loss claims
• Track key metrics and provide regular reporting on shipping performance

✅ What You Bring

• 2–5 years of experience in shipping, logistics, or supply chain management
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business, or related field (preferred)
• Hands-on experience with systems like FedEx Ship Manager, UPS WorldShip, or ShipStation
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with customs processes and international shipping (a plus)
• Ability to lift and handle packages and thrive in a fast-paced environment

🏢 Work Environment

• Combination of office and warehouse setting
• Occasional evening or weekend shifts during peak seasons
• Requires physical activity: standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods

Compensation & Benefits

💰 Salary: $15-$25 an hour (based on experience)

🌴 PTO: 3 weeks + major holidays
