Job Title: SMT OperatorJob Description

As an SMT Operator, you will work with circuit boards and small electrical components, ensuring production targets and throughput needs are met daily. You will operate surface mount machines, including machine setup, adjustments, and material replenishments, while monitoring materials on the production line. Collaboration with Stockroom, Engineering, Programming, and Quality teams is essential to produce high-quality assemblies. Clear communication with teammates and supervisors is required to optimize work efficiency and ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Operate surface mount machines, including setup, adjustments, and material replenishments.
• Monitor materials on the production line and request replenishments as needed.
• Collaborate with Stockroom, Engineering, Programming, and Quality teams to ensure high-quality output.
• Communicate clearly with teammates and supervisors regarding all aspects of the job.
• Learn and uphold company standards to maximize customer satisfaction and work efficiency.
• Inspect equipment, perform daily maintenance and cleaning, and recommend machine adjustments.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety standards.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, meeting production targets daily.

Essential Skills

• Experience with SMT, microscope, and assembly processes.
• Basic computer competence.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating effectively in English.
• Ability to coordinate and collaborate with teams.
• Strong commitment to following safety rules and procedures.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Preferred minimum of 2 years working in a manufacturing environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of NA, Nevada.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.50/hr.
