Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity is available for a skilled professional in a dynamic K-12 school setting located in Texico, NM. This contract position spans the academic year, offering the chance to make a meaningful impact on students' communication skills from August 2025 to June 2026.

Qualifications:

  • Valid New Mexico state licensure in Speech Language Pathology
  • New Mexico Department of Education licensure in Speech Pathology
  • Experience working with K-12 students
  • Bilingual abilities are a plus
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)

Location:
Texico, NM

Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech and language disorders
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement IEPs
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and documentation as required
  • Conduct individual and group therapy sessions
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities
  • Support students in their educational and social development by addressing communication needs
