Job Details Responsibilities:
- Manage and review individual, corporate, partnership, trust, and nonprofit tax returns
- Provide proactive tax planning and consulting to clients across a variety of industries
- Supervise and mentor tax staff and seniors, including training, development, and performance reviews
- Research complex tax issues and provide well-supported recommendations and solutions
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and service
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
Qualifications:
- CPA license required
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (Master's in Taxation is a plus)
- 5+ years of experience in public accounting with a focus on tax
- Strong technical knowledge of tax laws and compliance standards
- Experience using tax preparation and accounting software (e.g., CCH Axcess, UltraTax, ProSystem fx, or similar)
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills
